This is sick. A Columbian soccer player kicked an Owl on the field today after missing a goal. The Owl was in shock after being kicked and died. The player is now receiving death threats and was fined over $500.
The worst part of the story is the Owl was the opponents mascot. How sad is that, poor Owl.

AMERICAN IDOL is rocking it this year. They have some of the best talent ever but I’m not yet certain, if the girls will beat out the guys. My early favorites can be found in both groups. And many of the under dogs have surprised me belting out songs with feeling and emotion.
Kendra Chantelle rocked it tonight and I really enjoyed several of the guys performances last night. My top picks so far for the guys are Jacob Lusk (top pick-he is clearly the best), James Durbin, Casey Abrams, Brett Lowerstern, Paul McDonald, and Scotty McCreery. The top picks for the girls are Kendra Chantelle, Naima Adedapo, Lauren Turner, Pia Toscano, Haley Reinhart, and Lauren Alaina. The verdict is still out for who is top pick for the girls.
It will be tough to pick but many who have fallen short is not due to their incredible voices, but clearly song choice. I am amazed the coaches don’t say “wait that song sucks try another”. The recent story on Jacob Dorsey possibly being sabotaged, shows his song may have killed the deal.

Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is getting blasted for imitating Madonna, but so what. Many stars today mimic stars of the past because they have no choice. Everything comes around again, there is nothing really new. Usher could be said to be following in the footsteps of Prince or James Brown.
If someone does something the right way, why not follow their lead? Madonna was the queen of self- promotion and now Lady Gaga has found her success in doing the same. If she wants to copy a superstar and becomes a star for this generation, let her rock on.
Hopefully the very talented Christina Aguilera will not follow in Charlie Sheens footsteps. She was arrested for public intoxication along with her date. He was not so lucky and got slapped with a DUI.
Maybe her recent bad luck pushed her over the edge…she slaughtered the National Anthem, her movie flopped, she fell at the Grammies and her last album tanked.
Why do these stars keep throwing their good fortune in the toilet? Is it too much to have fame and fortune? Give me some of that cash, trust me I would hire a driver if I partied that hard!
CHARLIE SHEEN obviously has a serious problem. Finally others have noticed and removed his small twin boys from his home. Last night officials visited him taking the kids to safety, and his wife filed a restraining order.
Sheen’s recent interviews probably caused him to lose his children. He appears delusional as he rambles on how he’s the ”greatest”. News reports this morning, are saying he may be bi-polar due to his behavior. After hearing his rants, it would not surprise me if it is some type of sickness. But it seems strange that he went from drug and alcohol insanity to “mental illness”.
Why must there always be a label of “illness” when outbursts occur? Is it drugs or is Sheen bi-polar? What do you think? His publicist resigned yesterday, so he must have the answer.
Many must want to know what he will say next, since he signed up for a Twitter account he quickly shot to over 1 million followers overnight!
