It is a good thing they found a way to delay a government shutdown for now. The House Speaker John Boehner just reported that Democratic and Republican negotiators reached a budget deal that will avoid a government shutdown, until mid-week. At that point, it is expected a long-term budget will be approved, but only time will tell.
Why cause all the frustration and stress, when all they had to do is agree to extend the deadline. Politicians need to refocus and get a grip.
