Popular singer, Sean Kingston, is reported to still be in critical, but stable condition after being injured in a serious jet ski accident over the holiday weekend in Miami. Kingston and a female passenger were injured when their watercraft crashed into the Palm Island Bridge during a holiday outing.
Kingston and Cassandra Sanchez were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, after the accident. While she has already been discharged, Kingston suffered from water in his lungs, a fractured wrist and a broken jaw.
The 21-year-old singer is well-known for his hit single “Beautiful Girls” and he has fans all around the world. This includes superstar recording artists such as; Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Serena Williams who sent Kingston well wishes via Twitter, shortly after the accident. An early investigation ruled out alcohol as the cause of accident, but it is still under investigation.
It is reported that Sanchez released a statement to TMZ, saying they were going “really fast” and she believes he lost control when he tried to avoid the bridge. She went on to say she would not press charges against the singer.
Since many jet ski accidents happen annually, several popular travel destinations have long since banned them from tourists beaches.
