(7/18/11 VIDEO) NYC SUBWAY FIGHT CAUGHT ON TAPE; BABY LEFT BEHIND BY MOM

WARNING:  VIDEO CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE

Last week a passenger shot a video of a New York City subway fight between two women over a seat.  They posted it on Youtube and the video has now gone viral, with over 800,000 views.

What’s unfortunate, is when you watch this disturbing video you will see the mom forgets about her infant during her heated rage.  As she engages in this ridiculous fight, the passengers yell, “baby, baby, baby!” as the stroller rolls away.  It also seems as though pepper spray may have been used during the confrontation, but she failed to protect her child from that as well.

Some reports suggest the women began fighting over a seat.  Seriously?  Is this how low we have become as humans?  It is embarrassing to see the anger in them both over something as trivial as seating on a train.  But in reality, is this over just a seat or is the economic stress taking a toll on us all?

The fighting and violence seem to be at an all-time high across the country.  Is there more to it than the eye can see?  Are people at their breaking point for other reasons?

It is surprising that nearly 1 million people have seen the video so quickly.  Are they watching for fun or in amazement and disgust?

7/24/11: MILITANTS HANG POLICE OFFICERS 8-YR-OLD SON IN AFGHANISTAN

CNN reports, this past Friday an 8-year-old boy was hanged by militants in Kabul, Afghanistan.   It comes days after the boy’s father refused to give them a police vehicle, per their demands.  They kidnapped the officers son and hanged him, when angered by his resistance.

President Hamid Karzai condemned the hanging and ordered local authorities to find the militants responsible for his death, and arrest them “as soon as possible.”

It is appalling that desperate men can hang a harmless child over their militant views.

 

(7/23/11 VIDEO) TEXAS FATHER SHOOTS FAMILY AT SKATING RINK BIRTHDAY PARTY; 6 DEAD

This weekend, a father opened fire during his child’s Birthday Party at a skating rink in a suburb of Dallas Texas. The tragic killing spree left six dead, including his estranged wife, her family members and the shooter.  Several others were also injured during the incident, but survived.

Witness interviews and police reports suggest, Tan Do, 35, and Trini Do, 29, were hosting a Birthday party at the Roller World Skating Rink in Texas on Saturday for one of their children  The father obviously was upset during an argument at the skating rink, so he opened fire, shooting his ex-wife and four others before pulling the trigger on himself.

The shooter, his estranged wife and five of her family members died in the shooting.  Unfortunately, before Tan Do shot himself in the head, he claimed the lives of the Trini Do’s sisters, Lynn Ta, 16, and Michelle Ta, 28 along with her brother, Hien Ta, 21; and her sister-in-law, Thuy Nguyen, 25. They were all so young which is a tragedy, how could he think to  target the entire family?  What a waste of life, and a senseless crime.  Divorce a person don’t kill them, if you have issues move on.

The only good to come out of this awful crime, is that the couple’s two children were not harmed during his killing spree.  But now they are left without parents, and part of their family.

What a sick world we live in…seriously, if you are in a bad marriage, violence is not the answer. Get a divorce or counseling.

(AMAZING VIDEO) 7/24/11: EARTHQUAKE HITS JAPAN AGAIN; 5.2 MAGNITUDE

JAPAN experienced another earthquake today (Sunday 7/24/11).  The 5.2 magnitude quake hit near the East Coast of Honshu.  Boats were caught in a whirlpool and homes were washed away.  The power of this incredible quake was captured on tape and the video is amazing to watch.

This earthquake comes after so much devastation already seen in Japan.  How much more can they take before a collapse?  It is a sad day for Japan, once again.
