DR. CONRAD MURRAY was found guilty of killing singing legend Michael Jackson with the lethal drug Propofol. This week he received the maximum four year prison sentence. However, due to over-crowded prisons in California, many are saying he will only spend about two years behind bars.
Is this enough time for this crime? Well, it is better than and innocent verdict so MJ must be smiling down on this ruling. After hearing the news his family is certainly happy that some justice was served.
The California Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor was tough on Murray, calling him a “disgrace to the medical profession” and that he committed a “horrific violation of trust”. This was the biggest issue with the case from the start. He certainly did not seem like a murderer, but he should have known better. Now the “Dr.” will probably have to find a new profession…maybe a “hit man”.
This outcome and jury decision is perfect timing for The X Factor….seeing that this weeks theme is a tribute to Michael Jackson songs. Do you think the producers planned this, or just got lucky?
