UPDATE: THE VOTES ARE IN…WHO GOT VOTED OFF?
Many are asking “Who will leave American Idol tonight?” Well, if the competition is truly based on finding the best talent out there, it would have to be Elise. While they are all exceptionally great singers, she is now the weakest link. It just seems like she has reached her peak and has less vocal range than the others.
However, if it were based on my personal taste I would send Skylar packing. She is definitely an energetic performer and has a good voice, but somehow has not grown on me like some of the others. This is not based on her being a country singer, which is not typically my preference, it is more about her demeanor. Even Phillip Phillips earned my respect after last nights performance, and he was originally on the bottom of my list.
If the rumors about Idol “rigging” the competition to insure a young successful star emerges, the bottom three may just be a surprise. We all saw the best singer, Jessica Sanchez, almost head home last week, but I do not expect to see her on the “hot seat” tonight.
Who will leave Idol tonight? My bet is on Elise or Skylar, but we all know my picks have not always been right.
