It is another sad case of an unnecessary loss of an infant. This week a Mississippi father went into church leaving his three-month old baby in an extremely hot car.  Unfortunately, hours after returning to the car the baby was found unconscious in the back seat, and later died at the hospital.

Norman Collins Jr., the father of the small child, is the music minister of the Real Faith Christian Church in Clarksdale, Mississippi.  He was devastated by the horrible mistake and said it resulted in the miscommunication between himself and a church member.  Collins says the accident occurred after he asked the church member to retrieve the child from the car, but the member apparently didn’t hear him.

It was a tragic accident and Collins is now out on $30,000 bond after being charged with negligent manslaughter.  What a sad loss of life.  It is a reminder to all; check your car before walking away, it is easy to judge, but can happen to anyone.
