VIDEO: MANCOW WATERBOARD STUNT
Popular “shock jock” Mancow Muller announced his return Chicago to Chicago today in a press release. He will hit the airwaves on WJJG-AM/530 beginning October 3rd, on two shifts; weekday mornings and afternoon drive.
Muller was extremely popular in the 90’s, and is often compared to the style of Howard Stern. The original show, “Mancow’s Morning Madhouse”, debuted in Chicago in 1994 on WRCX and had a huge following. Many were amazed at his out-of-the-box antics and his ratings surged.
In a statement he went on to say, “I have been the phantom of Chicago radio the last year, exiled from the PC landscape of today’s corporate-controlled radio, programmed from lands far away from Chicago. So when a radio maverick like Matt asked me to air two times a day I said yes!” Muller added, “six hours of Mancow a day is not enough but it’s a start.”
Well, we will have to see if he still has his mojo…Chicago certainly needs a popular on-air jock back on the scene. Let’s hope he adds some excitement back into radio.
