A California woman was thrilled to read her local newspaper and see her winning lottery numbers posted. She excitedly went to sleep dreaming about all the things she could do with her millions. Her son was worried she would have a heart attack as she screamed in joy when telling him of her unbelievable news.
Sadly enough and to her surprise the newspaper had mis-printed the numbers and corrected them in the paper the next day. Lottery officials and the editor apologized, but should that make her feel better? Very doubtful.
After recently losing her husband, she believed her $54 million dollar winning ticket was a gift from him. It was devastating news and now she can only dream about the roof in need of repair at her humble home. What a downer; to think you were a millionaire and find you’re still broke is painful. It’s just good she did not go on a shopping spree in advance of the check!
