X-FACTOR is now done with auditions and boot camp begins. They definitely have enough talent to fill the season with outstanding performances. It is amazing to see so many incredible contestants reach their goals and all on one show.
Tonight there were a lot of great singers, once again, but there were two who really stood out. The first one was 21-year-old Tora Wolonshin, from Tuscon Arizona. The Auto Tech student had a dream of opening an automotive shop, but I have a feeling she will put that aside quickly. Tora is destined to become a singing sensation and has “star” written all over her. She belted out the Michael Jackson classic “I Want You Back” as though it was written for her and she was already on tour.
The final contestant was also a stand-out and blew the audience and judges away. Although initially she seemed shy and self-conscious 16-year-old, Jazzlyn Little, when she opened her mouth a superstar appeared. As she rocked the Mary J. Blige hit “I’m Going Down“, she had the judges stunned. Her story of only having 500 views on Youtube will definitely be a thing of the past, because after tonight’s performance her video’s are certain to go viral just like Chris Rene. One things for sure, she is NOT going down!
This season of X-Factor has kicked off with a great run and too many amazing singers to count. They may want to consider starting a an X-Factor record label to showcase all this talent in one place. All I can say is “Wow!” Simon sure knows how to pick-em.
Let’s hope they can withstand boot camp….this is when the true stars will surface.

Tonight the X-FACTOR had an opening shocker when a 14-year-old gave Simon Cowell a bit of lip. Brian Bradley jumped on Simon out of nowhere, leaving the judges with mouths wide open. Well, it was a part of his act and had the audience also stunned until he hit the beat. Pretty clever move, it definitely got their attention.
Turns out, it was all a part of his act and with a song like “Stop Lookin at My Mom”, it was fitting. The kid has attitude, stage presence and lyrics to back it up. Good for him for putting Simon in his place…or so it seemed.
Bradley was one of the best rappers in his age group to-date and I expect him to go far on the rap scene. However, I’m not yet sure if he can sing other than rap, so X-Factor may just have been a platform to get him in the door. Like he said “you gotta know people who know people to make it in the music industry.” Well, now he knows them!
