07 Nov

The former heavyweight champion and boxing legend, Joe Frazier, died today at the age of 67.  Frazier was a tough fighter but unfortunately had a short battle with liver cancer, passing away soon after entering hospice care.

Also known to many as Smokin’ Joe, his rivalry with Muhammad Ali was legendary and lasted for decades.  One of his most memorable fights was when he won the undisputed heavyweight title over Ali at Madison Square Garden back in 1971.  He was the first fighter to beat Ali and retired with a 32-4-1 record.

He will be remembered as a boxing legend to his fans around the world.  R.I.P.
