12/7/11: FORMER GOV. BLAGO SENTENCING TODAY; IS 14 YEARS ENOUGH?

07 Dec

The former Governor Rod Blagojevich, is on his second day of sentencing.  Chicago and the entire nation is in deep discussion on this topic and eagerly awaiting the outcome.  Blago stunned many of his supporter’s, when he reportedly allowed his attorney to share with the world, that he is guilty of corruption.  What a shocker…didn’t he say “I am innocent” to anyone who would listen up until now?

Many experts believe he will receive 10 – 14 years in prison, however, he could receive up to 20 years.  If he is sentenced to anything over ten years he will be shipped away to a minimum security prison.  Maybe that is why his typical grin is completely wiped off his face.  His wife also looks terrified for the first time during this long process.

The family adopted a dog this week, so they obviously believe he will receive a harsh sentence.  Seems like she is in need of a distraction for the kids, or a replacement for her husband.

Is 14-years too long?  Does his crime deserve the maximum sentence?  Well, it depends on who you ask.  What do you think?  Weigh in below.

I feel Bush should have gotten more than 20 years for taking us to war for no reason at all. So i have no standard to go by .
