2011: ROLLING MEADOWS TEEN KILLED IN MEXICO; BURNED IN CAR

28 Dec

They say Mexico is not the safest travel destination at this time.  This is probably true after today’s announcement of a Rolling Meadow teen, found burned to death in a car.

During his annual trip to Mexico to visit his grandmother, Chicagoan, 18-year-old Alexis Marron, was found dead alongside two of his best friends in a car on a country road.  Family members reported, they believe it may have started as a robbery, but the actual reason is still unknown.

It is sad to hear of this intense violence happening in such a beautiful country.  And for such a young man to lose his life is even more tragic.  The vicious attacks and drug wars have continued to increase in Mexico for many years, and does not seem to be slowing down.

Thank you Britta for this educational post. After viewing the video on your post, other videos were available. I viewed some of them as well. It is very distrubing to know that the United States actually is enabling the Mexican Drug Cartel by supplying automatic weapons and the only defense they claim is to “track” the identification numbers on the weapons supplied to Mexico.

Many good points and possible solutions were brought up in the investigative videos I watched after your posted video. Clearly this is a cycle of sickness and murder that effects not only Mexico, United States but also Europe and actually the whole planet. The bottom line seems to always come to one final denomiator…money. And with money comes power. We should start cleaning house within the Governmental powers and Law Enforcement.

Thank you Britta for your educational post. As disturbing as it is, we all need to face reality and band together to combat this growing evil in our world.

Yes Brittaj, it is VERY disturbing but just saying it and not actually doing something about it is also very disturbing. One can shake their head, pray, point fingers but until the words and ideas are actually put into action, this massacre of people, innocent and/or not so innocent will continue to happen and these filthy, demented drug king pins will continue to have the illusion of control. It is now time people start standing up to our Government. Mexico’s corruption is tightly connected within our Government. Congressmen and Senators in each State need to address this for the future safety of America and not just our border States. All States need to be involved!
