It’s exciting to see two stellar recording artist make the list of nominees, for the 54th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony. The show will air on CBS Sunday February 12, 2012 and is sure to have a record number of viewers. Not only is heart-throb, LL Cool J hosting this year, all eyes will be on Adele’s performance, since she just had throat surgery.
Rumors were swirling about who will open the show, but it was confirmed that living legend, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, will rock the crowd with “We Take Care of Our Own.”
Who tops the list for most Grammy noiminations this year? Well, surprisingly enough, that honor goes to Kanye West with seven. Although he is not one of the favorite artists when it comes to personality and tasteless stunts, his talent is undeniable. And in a close second with six nominations; Adele, Foo Fighters and Bruno Mars.
This may be one of the best Grammy’s in recent years and my hopes are that Bruno Mars and Adele walk away with several “Golden Boys”. They are definitely at the top of my list.
UPDATE: The death of the Queen of pop Whitney Houston, will change the tone at the Grammys.
