The Bachelor season finale aired tonight.  Unfortunately, it appears Ben is cursed with incredibly bad luck or plain bad judgement.   Millions watched as he once again, got on his knee to propose for the second time, to propose to the wrong woman.  Since he fell in love with the most hated woman in the shows history, he may end up with more than he bargained for in the long run.

After many warnings from all the other women, Bachelor Ben Flajnik proposed to Courtney Robertson tonight.  This left poor Lindzi in the dust, which is truly a shock.  How could he not have listened to all that they told him?  Maybe they do deserve each another…because Lindzi was definitely the better choice.  Hopefully she will find a better man with more common sense.

The men on this show seem like many in the “real world”.  They get sucked in by a pretty face and are blinded by parts other than their brain.  When will men learn?  Although he is unable to watch the show along the way to see just how evil she was toward the other women, he was warned.  Sorry, but there was no excuse for her behavior, so her fake tears mean very little.

On The Final Rose, Ben admitted they temporarily broke up while the show aired, because it was so negative.  But seriously, there were enough signs all along to see her true colors. It is clear that her skimpy bikini and the late night “skinny dip” was all he needed to get sucked in.

Courtney said the other girls brought out her “bad side”, but that is purely a cop-out.  The truth comes out in the light…and the light was on the entire show.  In the end, he will be the one who has to live with her.  I hope it lasts, but it’s obvious this is going nowhere.  And I’m an optimist…

I disagree totally with you. You can’t help who you fall in love with. I agree she could have handled things differently in the house, with the other women. But we only see what the network and producers want us to see (and we all know they love sensationalism). We don’t know how the other women treated her behind closed door (or closed cameras). She is obviously a different sort of duck (as is Ben). I am happy he chose her. I thought they were the best suited. And as he said last night, every time he thinks of the women, he thinks of Courtney. I think it was really unfair for Chris last night to say that all of United States hates her. I don’t hate her. I don’t think you or I have a right to judge. We certainly don’t know what’s in her or his heart. And let’s be real. We don’t see everything that happened in the several weeks that everything unfolded.
She is not the wrong woman for Ben.

Lorraine, I agree that you cannot help who you fall in love with. The only problem is she does not seem sincere. Hopefully she really is in love and they find happiness. In the end, it’s their life and does not really affect any of us, so you’re right…who are we to judge? Thanks for your feedback.
