2012: CHICAGO BRIDE FOUND STABBED TO DEATH IN WEDDING DRESS; ARREST WARRANT OUT FOR GROOM

15 May

What would make a man kill his new bride on their wedding day?  This is truly shocking and no reason in the world could have this story make sense.  But a young 26-year-old bride was found stabbed to death, lying in the tub covered in blood and still wearing her wedding dress.  The tragic murder happened this week in Burbank, which is a southwest suburb of Chicago.

The police now have a warrant issued for the arrest of her groom, Arnoldo Jimenez, 30, who is wanted for the murder of his brideEstrella Carrera was stabbed several times shortly after returning home from a celebration, after getting married at city hall earlier in the day.  Police suspect her new groom, because there were no signs of forced entry….and he is nowhere to be found.

It was sad to hear that she leaves behind a 2-year-old son, who will no longer have a mom, allegedly because of his father.

Let’s help this beautiful bride get the justice she deserves….step forward if you have information about the case or Jimenez’s whereabouts, call Burbank police today at (708) 924-7300.

How could this happen?  It makes absolutely no sense that one minute you’re getting married and the next minute you are being stabbed by your loved one…insane.
