Anyone growing up during the Disco era would likely have danced to songs by the “Queen of Disco“. Sadly enough, legendary singer Donna Summer died today from lung cancer at the age of 63.
I personally remember singing to her hits like “Bad Girls”, “Love To Love You Baby”, “Last Dance”, “Hot Stuff“, “Dim All The Lights”, “On The Radio”, “I Feel Love”, and too many more to mention. It was also a treat to see her in concert, which I had the pleasure of doing many years ago.
This icon will be truly missed. Her talent was like no other and her voice is a hard act to follow. She proved it by earning five Grammy’s during her music career, which lasted for many decades.
R.I.P. Ms. Summer….your music will live on forever.
