What a sick and unconscionable story. Police in the Detroit area are looking for attacker who did the unthinkable this weekend, to a woman who is nine months pregnant. Reports suggest the woman was bound with duct tape forced in a car, doused with lighter fluid and set on fire, then shot in the back.
It happened on Saturday morning when she dropped off her ex-boyfriend (alleged father of unborn baby) at his new girlfriend’s home. The women told police that upon arriving, she pulled into the garage and the doors closed quickly. An unknown man then said “you know why this is happening” as he put the gun to her head and kidnapped her.
The 22-year-old woman was apparently a fighter, because after he set her on fire she rolled on the ground to put out the flames but he then shot her in the back. Amazingly enough she somehow broke free from the duct tape and escaped, after pretending to be dead. The attacker fled on foot and suprisingly enough she drove herself to call for help. Doctor’s determined her unborn child was unharmed, but she is listed in critical condition.
Who does this? Obviously someone who is extremely sick and does not know how precious life is…especially that of a mom and her baby. Let’s hope they find her attacker and that he spends a lifetime in prison thinking about his disgusting crime. It is alleged that her ex-boyfriend may have something to do with it because he did not want the baby…which would be the lowest of low.
Good to hear her baby is safe and hopefully she will recover. What a horrific thing to experience just before giving birth.

Sick. Be careful of the people you involve yourself with. That old saying…you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas rings true. I hope they find and punish these evil people. Why was she dropping off her ex-boyfriend at his current sweethearts home? Something does not sound right in this picture.
