ABC NEWS just reported about another child abuse case which is sickening and disturbing. It’s the story of a mom accused of torturing her small child. The Kansas City, Mo., 29-year-old mother Jacole Prince was arrested for allegedly locking her 10-year-old daughter in a closet without food and sitting in her own waste.
When the girl was rescued she only weighed 32 pounds (1/3 of normal weight), but what’s most frightening is hospital records showed that she has only gained 6 pounds since she was about 5 years old. The mom even realized she was severely malnourished because she admitted to police that she did not allow the child to go outside, because she knew people would notice.
According to authorities the girl was unable to leave the closet for bathroom breaks or to sleep and also suffers from multiple skin injuries. They were unable to determine the length of time the girl spent in the closet, but based on the evidence it appears to be for a very long time.
What is wrong with people? If they don’t want to care for a child, they need to let a caring family adopt them. How could someone be so cruel? It is disgusting to hear about anyone harming a child…but this is one of the lowest forms of abuse. LOCK HER UP AND THROW AWAY THE KEY!
