TMZ just reported on the bad news just received by the W.i.P nightclub owners in New York. Apparently the recent brawl on June 14th between Drake and Chris Brown seemed to be the last straw for NYC authorities.
Heavy publicity of the fight was unwanted exposure the club just could not afford, especially after several past violations. Effective immediately the only thing they will be serving up…is non-alcoholic beverages. The New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) just announced that the W.i.P liquor license has been suspended.
Without liquor in a club fights typically end…but then again so do customer’s. They end their visits to a club without booze, so it just may be possible that Drake and Chris Brown has put them out of business! Seems like their new slogan for W.i.P will be “Why didn’t I just party?”
This is a sad thought…what happened to the days when people partied to enjoy themselves? Fighting at a club in a fun environment is unnecessary and ridiculous. As the late Rodney King said…”Can’t we all just get along?”
