Anyone tuning into The X Factor this season is aware of all the heart wrenching stories shared by many contestants.  But the one told by the incredible singer, David Correy, was one to grab your attention.

During his audition Correy shared with the viewer’s and judges why he was so passionate about music.  He wanted to use his vocal gift to find his birth mother after 25 years of searching.  Although he was adopted, Correy still felt something was missing, so he used his love of singing as a platform to find her and thanks to the show it worked!

It was just announced that David Correy was able to find his mother this week.  When he made top 16, the media attention was all he needed to heighten his exposure.  According to news reports, Luciene Lima is said to have seen the show when it aired in Brazil and recognized her long-lost son.

Let’s hope they have a great reunion with a happy ending and she lives up to all his hopes and dreams.  His amazing voice is a gift and he can now share it with her along with America!

If you have not tuned into The X Factor this season, you are really missing out.  Although Simon temporarily lost his mind, when adding the completely useless Britney Spears to the judging panel (sorry Britney but you have no intelligent comments), the contestants are amazing.

Maybe this will even make the heartless Simon Cowell shed a tear…we all know he has a soft side.  He can’t fool us with that cold exterior.

Thanks for posting. I hoped he would find her, and the dude is quite talented on top of it.

I’ll be voting.☺ Xfactor and America’s Got Talent, have some excellent performers this season. BUT I am so p.o.’d at FOX for the rain delayed mess they made of Xfactor last week, I’ll only watch to see David make it to the end. Question, if I’ve checked to the “Notify me…” boxes once on a post/topic, do I need to check them again every time?

That pissed me off too! They cut off X Factor right at the best part. Yes each time the box needs to be checked for each post.

Sonia, I think losing David was a HUGE MISTAKE! He was an incredible singer…what was he thinking?

Just like Sonia… no more Xfactor for me. David’s story was very emotional, with a great result, and as you said “an incredible singer.”
