The X Factor contestants definitely felt the impact of the new published ranking system.  It was clear tonight that those who topped the list had more confidence and contestants at the bottom, lacked it.

It was a battle between the judges as to who would go all the way and who may win it all.  The singers looked hungry, but the rankings will likely stay pretty consistent this week, based on performances.

But who was the best of the night?  Clearly, it was Carly Rose Sonenclar.  It was obvious from the beginning she was a stand-out and sure to make it to the end.  Her voice is undeniably stronger than the others, including last weeks number one ranked Tate Stevens.  The above video of her audition offers insight on how good she really is, and at only 13-years-old…wow!  It’s no surprise her Youtube videos have over 15 million views.  If she does not win the 5 million dollar prize…I will eat my house.

While most contestants were solid this week, there are two weak links who may find themselves in the bottom two come tomorrow night.  If I were to guess it would be Arin and CeCe packing their bags and headed home.  Although he is a heart-throb and she may get the sympathy vote, they just can’t compete with the talent of the remaining singers.

The ranking chart will be revealed tomorrow night, but my prediction is listed below.  Although several of my favorites are ranked low, including; Vino, Beatrice, and Emblem 3, the list is based solely on who I believe the fans will vote for tonight.

Do you agree?  Who is in your top 5?

TOP 12 LIST – (in my opinion)

1. Carly Rose Sonenclar

2. Tate Stevens

3. Fifth Harmony

4. Diamond White

5. Emblem 3

6. Vino Alan

7. Beatrice Miller

8. Jennel Garcia

9. Paige Thomas

10. Lyric 145

11. Arin Ray

12. Cece Fry

Let’s see just how close I get to what actually gets posted.

Finally XFactor had a killer episode. Only difference between YOUR list and mine, is that I would have Emblem 3 at #2 and move everyone else down a spot. Though I think in the final vote Emblem 3 will win. While Carly is truly the most talented, I think the primary viewers (young girls) will vote for the “Pretty” boys… and they ARE talented too.

I hope that this competition turns out to be legimiate, not like others before . Carly is gifted and deserves to win. But in the past on other shows the one that should win always loses. What a shame that would be to snuff out this talent.

Brittaj, I have watched the X factor, America’s got talent and American Idol for number of years. I am afraid that Ms. Carly will be passed over because of her 13-year-old existence. I say this with an example, Mr. Jackie Evancho, who was on America’s got talent in its fifth season, and clearly voted by the whole nation and still Michael Grimes a jazz singer wins the competition. We never truly know what the vote is, so that allows the producers to select if they choose to do so. We discovered that little fact when we saw competitive application forms. It is stated they reserve the right of final selection. Jackie did win, in a manner of speaking, she got a recording contract from SyCO and to make this story complete, is clearly a national treasure and world-renowned.

I suspect that Ms. Carly will win the competition, by vote, but will lose by the decision of producers. Tate is a wonderful country-western singer and he clearly should be in show business, Simon on national television has already said he would be glad to write the five million dollars check. I have collected a number of voting polls predicting Carlie Rose as the clear winner, but the show results says otherwise. Tate has a little over 50,000 twitter followers, where as, Carly has a little over 190,000 twitter followers, how can she lose if both sides fan bases vote 100 times? The math doesn’t explain Tate winning each week.

Garet…you are so right! We can never tell…can we say JENNIFER HUDSON:). The numbers just don’t add up…but those shows have been questioned before.

There is a part of me that remembers the Quiz Show scandal many years ago. If these music competition shows are messing with the numbers, it could be a repeat scandal.
