CHECK OUT LIVE RESULTS SHOW 11/22/12 HERE.
Anyone watching The X Factor tonight, definitely had a box of tissue handy. The contestants gave thanks to special people who have influenced them, in recognition of the Thanksgiving holiday. Most singer’s were on top of their game tonight. But fan favorite and my pick to win it all, 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar, gave them a run for the money.
In true form the top contestants from last week stayed consistent. However, the ranking chart should see a bit of a shake-up this week…if fans get it right. The votes should shift due to a few stand-outs including; Diamond White, Fifth Harmony, Vino and of course Carly.
It was a touching show with heartfelt moments and performances. The heartbreaking stories of many contestants included; CeCe losing her sister to multiple sclerosis, Paige losing her mom and being left with nothing, Carly calling 911 at the age of ten after her mom had a stroke, to a member of Fifth Harmony being born premature but surviving. They all seem to have sad gut wrenching situations and their emotions were left on the stage tonight. The judges gave too many standing ovations to count! All deserving…
There were a few moments both good and bad. Vino singing “God Bless The USA“, as a tribute to the Troops was a special defining moment and is sure to put him near the top. Carly singing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” with a twist should definitely push her to number one….what an incredible vocal performance. Diamond was amazing and gave her best performance of the competition. And I do love Beatrice who has one of the most unique voices of them all.
Now on to the bad, as sad CeCe Fry’s story was, she truly was off-key and sounded horrible. The judges probably felt too sorry for her to tell the truth, but they should have been more up front. Sorry but she needs to go and is in over her head.
Well, although my ranking board seems to be the opposite of the fans, that won’t stop me from posting it. If the voter’s get it right, this is clearly how they ranked based on tonight’s performances. And according to my polls Carly should have beaten Tate the last couple of weeks. While he seems like a great guy and is also talented, she is just a step above him. And yes, Simon Cowell was right…L.A. Reid was in a very bad mood. What happen to his holiday cheer!
Do you agree with my ranking? If not, post a comment AND don’t forget to vote below.
#1 Carly Rose Sonenclar
#2 Vino Alan
#3 Diamond White
#4 Tate Stevens
#5 Fifth Harmony
#6 Emblem 3 (Don’t get me wrong…they sounded great. But others were slightly better.)
#7 Beatrice Miller (Absolutely love her spirit and voice)
#8 Arin Ray
#9 Paige Thomas
#10 CeCe Fry (Please get it right this week! Sorry, she really did not deserve her spot last week.)
Who will go home from the Top Ten list next? Well, according to my raniking….it should be Paige and CeCe. But I was so wrong last time…so guess we will have to see!
On a another note, I really loved seeing the family reunions…makes us all know we have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Count your blessings.
