The X Factor had an emotional night of performances, with contestants giving thanks to their mentors. It was a game changer for many singers and my poll seems to confirm it. While the past two weeks showed Tate Stevens at the top of the ratings chart, it looks like things have shifted.
According to the poll, those who took risks and left their heart on the stage moved up on the charts. The new #1 spot goes to Carly Rose Sonenclar, which is no surprise. Her incredible gift was clear from day one and many felt she deserved to be there all along. By singing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” it may have given her the push needed to secure the lead, already pulling in 34% of the votes.
But others who have always impressed me are now right on her tail. The amazing singing group of girls Fifth Harmony is a close second with 29% based on new results. In near tie is, Diamond White, pulled in 25% of the votes.
As of early today, original fan favorite, Tate Stevens, had a mere 4% of the votes, which is a huge drop from last week. Has he lost is mojo? Maybe he peaked too soon…opening the door for others. A shocker was that Vino singing to the troops, did not push him to the number one spot as Simon suggested. He also received only 4% of the votes.
While the poll is not scientific and may change often, it may be a good sign as to how it will shake out come Thanksgiving night. The show will share the bottom two singers and send them packing. It will be a sad holiday for those going home.
If you missed Carly’s performance I urge you to watch above video. I had to hit the rewind three times! Best version ever performed, Simon Cowell was absolutely right…for a change:).
NOTE; POLL WILL CONTINUE TO CHANGE BASED ON YOUR VOTES. PERCENTAGES WERE BASED ON ORIGINAL VOTES DIRECTLY AFTER THE SHOW!
