2012: AZ LOTTERY WINNER MATTHEW GOOD STEPS FORWARD; CLAIMS $197 MILLION AND NOT QUITTING HIS JOB?

10 Dec

cashThe second Powerball winner of the largest jackpot in history stepped forward.  It was time for him to get his portion of the $587 million and share the news with the world.  Matt Good from Phoenix, Arizona, finally claimed his prize and decided on a lump sum payout of $197 million.  Apparently he was a bit worried about the possible new tax consequences for the rich!

It was great to hear that a young family had won the lottery and have a lifetime to spend it.  However, the fact that he claims he will keep his job at an electronic company, made me ill.  While it is a lot of money and he is probably temporarily in shock, let’s face it…he will probably dump his gig as soon as that check comes in.

Winning the lottery absolutely changes lives, some for the good and others for the bad.  Let’s just hope he’s safe and it will better his family and friend’s lives…well at least his last name is Good.  That may be a sign…

No time to judge…it must be overwhelming to find out you are an instant multi-millionaire.  Whatever you think you will do if you win…is probably completely different when it actually happens.  But don’t get too worried…your chances of getting struck by lightning is still greater than winning the lottery.

On another note; Hey Matt! If you want to leave your wife and get a new one just look me up!  JUST KIDDING!!!  But don’t be shocked if you get real offers similar to this in the coming month’s.

WHO WAS THE FIRST WINNER TO STEP FORWARD?  FIND OUT HERE.
