The Grammy’s will air tomorrow night (2/10/13) and is the most watched music award show on television. But this year Producer’s have informed guests to leave their skimpy hooker clothes at home. Sorry, no more Jennifer Lopez “barely there” attire is allowed. This seems like no fun…is this becoming stiff like the Oscars?
This new rule comes a bit late, since most celebrities have outfits specially designed well in advance. I guess they will just have their designer’s add patches of fabric on all the see-through mesh. The tape just won’t do it this year! American’s are so uptight….in Europe they are considered over dressed.
This is probably a first for most of these Diva’s….seriously, being told what to not to wear? It will be interesting to see if this will cause some backlash and they actually wear less to rebel. Some celebrities have huge egos, so we can be sure–they are not used to being instructed to do something. They are untouchable for goodness sakes!
Close to a billion people worldwide will tune in to see which artist will take home a Grammy. But it may now also draw a new audience…curious to see how it all plays out. It’s my favorite music show, so my DVR is set.
The long list of performers include some of my favorites. Rihanna is supposed to hit the stage with Chris Brown (say what?), Taylor Swift, The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, and fun will also perform. On another note, it seems like Whitney Houston died just month’s ago. It’s astounding to believe this will mark the one year anniversary of her death. So sad to think about the loss of such incredible talent…no one will ever come close to her GREATNESS. R.I.P. Whitney.

Personally I think total nudity should be allowed 😉 ! I heard Bruno Mars is also supposed to perform… he just killed it last year, great performance. Really looking forward to tonight’s show.
