2013: SINGER BRUNO MARS MOM DIES SUDDENLY OF BRAIN ANEURYSM; AT ONLY 55YRS OLD

02 Jun

It was sad to hear of the sudden death of singer Bruno Mars mom on Saturday.  Bernadette Hernandez was only 55-years-old, when she unexpectedly suffered from a brain aneurysm and was rushed to Queens Medical Center in Honolulu.  She passed away after doctor’s were unable to save her from this untimely diagnosis.

The only thing Bruno can take comfort in, is that his mother was able to see him shoot to stardom and make her proud.  His talent is undeniable, but losing his parent at such a young age will certainly change his perspective and artistry.  With him already writing and belting out extremely emotional lyrics, it will be interesting to see how he can become even better.  Wonder if this will also affect his upcoming tour….let’s hope he continues on in memory of his mom.

Bruno’s new song “Treasure” is already a hit, but may now have even more meaning after this tragic loss.  A mom is something to definitely treasure….so his lyrics can be replaced to honor her in a different way.

R.I.P. Bernadette Hernandez….and fans are certainly supporting Bruno in his time of loss.

One of the MANY things I like about Bruno, is that every hit he has is totally different from the previous one. He’s not a cookie cutter performer, but a true artist. This video for Treasure is really cool, the way they mix in portions of previous videos (especially the Lazy Song clips). Sure hope his stardom last for a LONG time.

Tom, I agree! He is one of the BEST singers out and has enough variety to last a lifetime in the spotlight. I expect him to be around for a VERY long time!
