Everyone has a past, including Brotha Fred, from the new morning show on Kiss 103.5. In a recent article (see below), it has been reported Brotha Fred has finally reunited with his dad after 14 years. Maybe his move to Chicago, will have a happy ending because it is alleged, his dad called to congratulate him on his new on-air job.
In learning more about his estranged father, it appears the apple does not fall far from the tree! His dad, Charlie Van Dyke used to work at WLS (890) from 1972 to 1973 and then went on to work at KHJ in Los Angles.
This must be good news for Brotha Fred, as I am very familiar with a “family reunion” with a long-lost dad.
